Real Windows Simulator is an independent Mac application. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle — or more accurately, do not handle — your personal information.

Real Windows Simulator does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information. It does not have a server. It does not phone home. It does not know your name, your location, your browsing history, or how many times you've opened your laptop lid today (even though it definitely heard it).
Unlike some operating systems we know, we have no interest in your data whatsoever.
The App may request the following permissions on your Mac — solely for its stated functionality:
Accessibility Access — Required for global keyboard monitoring (the keyboard feature). This data is processed entirely on-device and is never transmitted anywhere.
IOKit / Lid Sensor Access — Required to detect lid movement for the Build Quality feature. Again, entirely local. We are not interested in your lid angle data. No one is.
These permissions are used exclusively for the features described. Nothing else. We promise. And unlike Windows, we actually mean it.
Payments are processed by Polar.sh, a third-party payment processor. We do not receive or store your payment card details. Please review Polar's Privacy Policy for details on how they handle your payment information.
Your email address, provided at checkout, may be used by Polar to deliver your license key and purchase receipt. We do not use it for marketing.
We do not use any analytics tools, trackers, cookies, or third-party SDKs in the App or on this website. There are no hidden pixels, session recordings, or behavioral tracking of any kind.
This website does not use cookies. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.
Real Windows Simulator is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. If you are a parent and believe your child has purchased this app, we commend their taste and suggest you try it yourself.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Unlike a certain operating system, we will not update this policy in the background without telling you.
